I have heard a lot of hype about Freddy’s Fuego and I have been contemplating trying them for quite a while. The store we were at only had one jar left of this Tiramisu Cookies, so I decided I better snag it while I had a chance. This is the first time I have ever tried the Tiramisu strain so I was pretty excited about getting home and cracking into it! The second I opened the jar I got hit with a gassy, pungent smell that was also sweet with hints of earthiness and vanilla… it literally had my mouth watering. I loaded up a bowl of it and the first hit was absolutely HEAVENLY. Being Italian, the taste was almost nostalgic; it took me right back to my childhood, and eating freshly made Tiramisu with mascarpone… the strain couldn’t have a better name to describe it. My mouth was flooded with a smooth vanilla taste that was almost buttery; there were delicious bursts of nuttiness that were reminiscent of coffee and maybe even a slight hint of chocolate. There were also smooth undertones of a woody and earthy taste that really just tied the taste together perfectly. There was a delicious lasting aftertaste that stayed in my mouth for quite a bit. I went to drink some coffee while still having the taste in my mouth, and I was so pleasantly surprised by the pairing. It was literally the perfect combination, the tastes were so similar and went together so well. I make my coffee with vanilla creamer and a dash of white chocolate, which smelled and tasted uncannily similar to the tiramisu cookies with the hints of vanilla and coffee nuttiness. I am now going to keep this strain on hand specifically for waking and baking with my coffee… just perfection. Now lets get to the effects! I was also very pleasantly surprised with the effects of this strain. I smoked 2 bowls of this and the onset was pretty immediate, I was left feeling very stoney with an incredible body high. I felt extremely chill and relaxed and overall just very happy. This strain would be perfect for anyone with body pain, stress, anxiety, or trouble sleeping. I also got a good case of the munchies every time I smoked this, so definitely would be helpful with anyone needing appetite stimulation. Additionally, although I was pretty stoney, I was able to talk to people and socialize with ease which makes this the perfect strain to smoke regardless of if you are planning to stay home and relax, or if you have to go to a social event… with that being said I am a pretty heavy stoner so if you are pretty easily couch locked, you may want to plan staying home the first time you smoke this to see how it effects you. Overall this strain is one of my new favorites and I highly recommend it! If you have never tried Tiramisu Cookies, stop sleeping and go pick some up right now… Cookie Queen Certified and you definitely won’t regret it.
